Dr Caroline Faul

Dr Faul graduated from UCC Medical School in 2002. Between the years of 2003 and 2006, she completed her training on the Cork Vocational Training Scheme for General Practice. She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners since 2006 and is on the specialist register for General Practice.

Dr Faul has a special interest in Women’s Health and obtained a Diploma in Women’s Health in 2008. She completed an Advanced Certificate in Long Acting Reversible Contraception (Implanon/Hormonal & Copper Coils) in 2019 and is a cervical screening doctor. She has also completed training in STI screening.

Dr Faul also holds a Diploma in Dermatology from Cardiff University and is a member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society.

In addition, she has an interest in Travel Medicine/Vaccination and completed a Certificate in Travel Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2011. The practice is also involved in the training of UCC undergraduate medical students. 

She is married with 3 sons.

 

Dr Aileen Scullion

Dr Scullion graduated from Queen’s University Belfast in 1997.  

Following her Internship in the Royal Hospital Group in Belfast she spent the next 3 years on the Northern Ireland Training Scheme and graduated from this in 2001 with membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. During this time she gained Diplomas in Children’s Health, Geriatric Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is a member of the Irish College of General Practitioners since 2011 and is on the specialist register for general practice

Dr Scullion has a special interest in Women’s Health.  She is trained in the insertion of Implanon, is a Cervical Screening Doctor and has completed training in STI Screening.

She has gained a Licentiate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.

Dr Scullion has an interest in Travel Medicine/Vaccination and completed a Certificate in Travel Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in 2010.

She has also completed a Certificate in the Management of Diabetes.

Dr Scullion has worked in Cork City since 2002.

She is married with 3 daughters.

 

Nurse Grainne O'Grady (Practice Nurse)

 Grainne graduated from Dublin City University in 2002. Following this she worked in Beaumont Hospital addiction unit and in the addiction unit in Pearse Steet, Dublin.

In 2006, she began her post in the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland Medical practice where she gained a wealth of experience in childhood immunisation, student health & travel health. She received her qualification in Cervical Screening in 2013. She is mum to 1 girl and 2 boys.
