We are registered with Cervical check to offer free smears to all women aged 25-65 years. This test is preformed every 3 years for women age 25-29 years and every 5 years for women age 30-65 years.

This test is to detect Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which if present may lead to early pre-cancerous changes at the cervix (neck of the womb).

More details about smears are available on www.cervicalcheck.ie, where you should also check if you are eligible for a free smear. Please bring your invitation letter or CSP ID number with you when coming for a smear. It is best to attend mid cycle for your smear test.

If you are not eligible for cervical check, a private smear can also be arranged. The cost for a private cervical smear test is 140 euros.
